NEVER ENDING FIGHT #DTU vs NSIT

DTU vs NSIT Battle begins~

Overview:

And now finally, the fight begins!!
If you are wondering which is the best among DTU and NSIT then my answer would be- no matter what you choose, your future is secure and in safe hands. They both are among the finest colleges of the country. But if you dive a bit deeper then you will find that they are like opposite side of a coin (Belongs to same but are completely different). Okay now, lets review the real battle!!

Ranking:
First thing one notices before deciding a college is checking its Rank. You can checkout the ranking by various organisations of colleges at this link here (for NSIT) and here. After seeing the ranks you might attempt to jump right onto the conclusion that DTU is better. If that so, then I will have to ask you to hold on your horses and first read the complete article (maybe it could change your thoughts…or maybe not) . Well the ranking criteria is based on various factors, like the number of placements, student intake, infrastructure , teaching skills and all. And as DTU got more than 2 times number of student than NSIT, it give DTU an advantage to climb up on the top of all rankings. But I strongly suggest that you should not give the Ranking that much priority here. There are other stuff you need to look first!!

Placements:
The placements are best in both of them!! Almost every company visit the campus for sure. But the only difference between the two is DTU got more number of students (almost more than 2 times that of NSIT) , then mathematically probability of getting placements is more in NSIT. But in practical situation, it wont make much of the difference.

Architecture and Campus:
DTU (160 acres) got much bigger and more better campus. On the other hand NSIT’s campus is more like a forest (as some people calls it). But the number of students in DTU is far more than NSIT so you still find DTU bit overcrowded. But overall both campus are really beautiful and loaded with greenery).

Academics:
Both of the college follow completely different strategies. On one hand DTU has common subjects for 1st year student which are among kind of general (most of it you would have already studied at school) and slowly slowly the difficulty level builds up. And on the other hand, NSIT takes its student right from the beginning with specific topics related to your branch and later you deep dive even more.

Co-curricular and Sports:
Here comes the complete game changer!! DTU is known for its amazing co-curricular activities and its wide range of societies (by joining which you can follow your dreams) and a whole lot of sports events starting from 1st year!!
Infact there is a SPORTS FEST too at DTU!!
On the other hand NSIT got more strictness towards its study plan and classes.

Studies and Teaching:
The studies at DTU are calm and fun. People usually do what they wish to, for the whole semester and at the end (in exam season) only then they study for the exam stuff (some exceptions are the obvious). And the assignment submissions is chilled out as well (usually include copy pasting).
And the faculty are not much serious, so attendance problem is also sorted!

On the other hand NSIT is too much strict about the studies, you should be a nerd to enjoy the environment or else you will become one by the end of the year or so. As most people are too much into their books all the time so exam days are kind off stressful as well.
Faculty at NSIT are strict as well with regular attendance and assignments!!

Fests and other events:
In this section, DTU is ultimate winner and none could deny that. The fest of DTU is one of the best (although it get too much crowd because of its popularity). Even the whole NSIT attends if some event happens at DTU campus, and on the other hand in NSIT fest their own students don’t wish to attend. So if you are a party loving kind of person then you should go for DTU without any second thoughts.
For more detailed insight about fest and events go to  here .

Conclusion:
So if you are a hardworking, bookworm and nerd kind of person then you should go for NSIT, its a complete package for you. And if you want to take it easy then go for DTU.
In either case, you wont regret your decision as in both cases your future is secured!!
